HLB payroll exchange in Hanover
Payroll accounting in transition
On 28 October 2025, the HLB Payroll Exchange, initiated by Martina Seiler, Head of Payroll at LW·P Lüders Warneboldt, took place for the first time at the Hanover site with the support of Steffen Hericks from DATEV. The regular meetings will become an important forum for interdisciplinary exchange in the area of payroll accounting within the HLB network.
The aim of the events is to discuss current developments in payroll accounting, regulatory innovations and practical solutions from day-to-day work. The first meeting focused in particular on topics relating to DATEV ProCheck, digitalisation and cloud solutions in payroll accounting, the design of efficient auditing processes and the handling of sensitive personnel data. The programme also included a brief insight into the world of labour law by Irene Taut and Jennifer Hillert, lawyers at LW·P Lüders Warneboldt.
The professional exchange made it clear how valuable the close cooperation within the HLB network is: the participants benefit from the experience of other law firms, broaden their view beyond their own day-to-day work and jointly develop future-oriented solutions. This collaboration not only strengthens professional excellence, but also promotes interdisciplinary networking between the payroll team, tax advisors, lawyers and neighbouring specialist areas.
The participants were able to take away valuable ideas – and at the same time contribute their own experiences and best practices. The positive feedback shows: Open dialogue and the desire to learn from each other are key components of successful collaboration in the HLB network.
We would like to thank all participants for the inspiring exchange – and especially Martina Seiler, who, with the support of Steffen Hericks and her secretary Paul Kallenberg, took on the organisation and content of the event with great commitment.
